Multilayer Piping

Multilayer composite flexible pipes are with crimped type brass fittings. These pipes are an evolved version of PEX or PERT pipes and are also known as composite pipes and are used for water supply piping instead of c-PVC, GI, and PP-R. All joints are completely leak-proof compared to conventional plumbing. All fittings are made of virgin brass with SS304L plates for crimping. These pipes are available in sizes up to 63mm.

The pipes are formed by extruding temperature-resistant PE-RT or PEX with a welded aluminium sheet inside. The aluminium layer helps reduce the thermal elasticity of the pipe. Our aluminium layer is welded face to face and not overlapped for better technical results. Our pipes are PE-RT/Al/PE-RT with EVOH (oxygen barrier) which protects against bacterial growth. Multilayer pipes are highly flexible whilst having a high resistance to temperature and pressure. They are much more resistant to corrosion compared to GI pipes. Our pipes go through a stringent thermocycler testing process which ensures a system life of 50 years. All our multilayer pipes are manufactured in Europe conforming to the relevant DIN EN standards with certifications from leading testing institutes. Due to the aluminium layer, once bent a multilayer pipe retains its shape thus behaving more like a metal pipe than plastic. The multilayer pipe has a 5-layer construction, with a butt-welded aluminium layer sandwiched between two layers of cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) and two layers of adhesive fixing the latter to the former.

Advantages of Press Fittings
  • All fittings are crimp based and made of brass (Grade – CW617N) with annealed SS304L sleeves. We avoid using PPSU as it is susceptible to leakages if exposed to adhesives/solvents.

Leak before press (LBP)

When the fitting is not pressed, a water leak occurs immediately without pressure test. This allows the installer or supervisor to easily check if the work has been carried out correctly and if necessary, take immediate corrective measures.

The leak before press function therefore guarantees greater safety and time saving d uringinstallation.

Colour Coded Fittings

Our fittings have unique coloured plastic rings for each diameter up to 32mm.

It makes Identification of fittings easier for Installers & helpers. It also helps warehouse/store managers to sort, identify, arrange& issue material.

Hose Profile Design

(upto 32mm diameter)

The hose profile has two different parts.

The front part is designed to facilitate easy insertion of the fitting into the pipe.

The special inclination of the corrugation has dual functionality.

– In one direction, it facilitatesthefull insertion of pipe.

– In the opposite direction it protects fitting against excess pressureor water hammer effect.

The rear part does not have seals (Axial press system). Pressure is exerted only by pipe which guarantees the tightness between the pipe and the metal hose.
